ABN AMRO wins at PWM Global Wealth Tech Awards

Private Bank awarded Best Initiative in client-facing technology Europe, Highly Commended in Best Private Bank for digital client communications – Europe, and awarded best website by My Private Banking research.

In London, ABN AMRO Private Banking was recognized by Professional Wealth Management (PWM) magazine, a publication of the Financial Times Group, in the inaugural Global WealthTech Awards as having the Best initiative in client-facing technology, Europe and highly commended in the category Best Private Bank for digital client communications, Europe.

Yuri Bender, Editor-in-Chief PWM, said: ‘The judging panel was impressed by ABN AMRO's focus on client-facing initiatives and technology. The concept of the banker working as a personal 'coach' for the client is one that has long-been part of the Dutch bank's mindset. Now ABN AMRO is working to incorporate this concept into digital channels. The judges noted that for ABN AMRO the role of the human banker in a digitising world remains crucial’.

In addition, My Private Banking Research.com awarded ABN AMRO Private Banking’s website number 1 in its latest ranking of the desktop and mobile websites of the 21 leading wealth managers worldwide.

About Global Wealth Tech Awards

Professional Wealth Management (PWM) magazine, a publication of the Financial Times Group, has launched the first annual Global Wealth Tech Awards, which recognise the increasingly important role played by technology in private banking today. 

Technology-related awards categories have been transferred from the Global Private Banking Awards, which will continue to run annually from April to October, and new Wealth Tech awards categories have been added to form this new set of awards. The submissions are judged by an expert panel of industry professionals based in North America, Asia and Europe.
