ABN AMRO Clearing is pleased to announce the decision to partner with a third party supplier for the provision of its market gateways and connectivity used for client order execution. A contract has been signed with Fidessa who will provide a global low latency and fully managed electronic execution platform. The purpose is to allow ABN AMRO Clearing’s clients to gain flexible access to financial markets across the world through a single connection.

Partnership among industry leaders

Fidessa is a leading provider of mature, high-performance trading and global connectivity solutions. Their service suite covers both street side infrastructure and the multi award winning buy-side software solution.  “After a broad RFP process and a thorough due diligence effort, Fidessa came up as the most suitable partner for AAC”, says James Fairweather, Head of Global Execution Services. “Their global offering and professional approach are a perfect fit with the AAC global clearing proposition & strategy.“

What will it bring to our clients?

“Fidessa’s global market connectivity farm offers the best value for money to satisfy our clients’ requirements.  They will execute their orders in multiple asset classes through a single link, plugging into the Fidessa network at a location nearby their operating centre of choice.”  Clients will have the ability to route orders from their preferred front end to exchanges and trading platforms across the globe.

A great leap forward

Signing the partnership agreement with Fidessa is a major step in delivering our clients a sustainable global execution offering.  It will enhance the AAC execution potential to markets where it is not a member, which is a great add-on for our PTG Clients and a major requirement for approaching Prime prospects. We keep on investing to remain a reliable and sustainable commercial partner, in our ongoing effort to make our clients globally competitive.
