Press release -

Six alternative investment funds have been selected to compete in ‘The AIF Factor’ on 11 February during the Amsterdam Investor Forum (AIF), which has been organised by ABN AMRO Clearing. Delegates, including a panel of asset allocators, will vote for the most convincing proposition and appoint the winner.

The shortlisted funds include

  • ‘Skënderbeg Fund’ of Skënderbeg Alternative Investments AG
  • ‘Trium Blackwall Fund’ of Trium Capital
  • ‘Arctic Blue’ of Arctic Blue Capital
  • ‘Nordkinn Fixed Income Macro Fund’ of Nordkinn Asset Management AB
  • ‘QLAB Convexity DL Fund’ of QLAB Invest Switzerland
  • ‘NextAM Tendance Finance’ of Tendance Finance

‘Once again, we have received numerous submissions from a variety of strategies and countries, which demonstrates the continuous dynamism of the Alternative Investment industry and the interest in such investor forums. It was a challenge to select only six finalists out of many compelling pitches, innovative strategies and sound track records. We believe that the AIF factor provides a great platform for managers to raise their profiles to investors,’ said Gildas Le Treut, Global Head of Prime Clearing at ABN AMRO Clearing.

‘The finalists will also gain unique access to the insights of our panel of asset allocators and what they are currently looking for in their potential investments. In addition, they will gain exposure to over 200 investors at the leading hedge fund conference in the Benelux,’ said Marc de Kloe, Head of Alternatives & Funds at ABN AMRO Private Banking.
