More than 56,000 customers from all over the world in a 10m² cheese shop

For five days, Kaan’s Kaashandel in Alkmaar was in upheaval. Jan Kaan and his sons were busier than ever, processing twice as many orders thanks to the livestream sale of their cheeses. The world’s first Stream Store was followed in 140 countries, with most visitors outside the Netherlands coming from the US, the UK, Canada and Germany. A total of 56,901 cheese lovers visited the online cheese shop. The site was most popular in the US, attracting 11,640 unique visitors.

ABN AMRO and stichting Samen Veilig Ouder Worden (SVOW), a Dutch foundation that protects senior citizens against financial abuse, will work together to prevent seniors from becoming victims of financial abuse. World’s first Stream Store opens its doors in Alkmaar

As a world premiere, Dutch cheese shop Kaan’s Kaashandel and ABN AMRO are today launching the world’s first live Stream Store in the Dutch town of Alkmaar. The Stream Store is an experience that lets customers order artisanal cheeses online in real time, as though they were right there at the store.

Dutch State reduces stake in ABN AMRO Group to 56%

Stichting administratiekantoor beheer financiële instellingen (NL Financial Investments, "NLFI"), on behalf of the Dutch state, agreed to sell 65 million depositary receipts ("Depositary Receipts") representing ordinary shares in ABN AMRO Group N.V. ("ABN AMRO Group") for a price of EUR 23.50 per Depositary Receipt. ABN AMRO will not receive any of the transaction proceeds.

Stichting administratiekantoor beheer financiële instellingen (NL Financial Investments, “NLFI”), on behalf of the Dutch state, today announced the intention to sell up to 65 million of depositary receipts (“Depositary Receipts”) representing ordinary shares in ABN AMRO Group N.V. ABN AMRO's Tikkie app helps Dutch Heart Foundation collect donations

ABN AMRO is helping the Dutch Heart Foundation raise funds by means of the technologically powerful payment app Tikkie. During the campaign for women's hearts, anyone can donate to the charity using Tikkie. The campaign launches in mid-September. If this new method of fundraising turns out to be a success, ABN AMRO and the Heart Foundation will be looking into further cooperation in the build-up to the Foundation's collection week.
