Your job

The Systematic Integrity Risk Analysis (SIRA) is a regulatory requirement which  has to be performed by all global business units at least once a year. Currently, at ABN-AMRO Bank the Compliance Risk Management division has started a project to improve the SIRA methodology. Effective communication and training plan are the keys to successfully implement the changes. 


Your role as a Communication Assistant intern is to support the Compliance Risk Management team in the creation of an effective communication plan to inform all stakeholders globally on the progress of the project. Next to this, you will be creating training materials to support the execution of project.


Your activities will include:

  • Planning bi-weekly calls with stakeholders
  • Supporting the creation of newsletters
  • Creating training materials for the project
  • Planning training sessions
  • Creating an agenda and keeping minutes ( of meetings, trainings, etc.)
Your working environment

 The Compliance Risk Management team consist of 25 people supporting the entire Compliance division in different areas concerning risk assessment, control testing and peer reviews. Together, we make certain that all ABN-AMRO’s stakeholders feel valued. We work in a constantly changing environment that requires flexibility, adjustments and pro-active learning to develop. Therefore, we strive to act with determination and provide problem-oriented solutions by continuously improving our skills and knowledge.

Your profile
  • You are at least a 3rd year HBO/WO student.
  • Your study covers Communication Science, or a similar field.
  • You are directly available and can start as soon possible.
  • You are available for a minimum 3 months and up to 6 months.
  • You have proficiency in both English and Dutch
  • You have affinity with Compliance and/or Risk Management
  • Microsoft Office wizard: proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Communicative: you can convey information in an accurate and clear manner.
  • Organised: you are often described as being organized, reliable, and confident.
  • 110% player: you work hard, but also play hard.
  • Flexible: you are used to work in dynamic environments.
