Whistleblower’s reporting procedure


We highly value integrity. Therefore, we find it important that (suspicions of) abuse or irregularities at ABN AMRO or companies related to us can be reported. For this purpose, ABN AMRO has a whistleblower policy and procedure in place.
For whom?
Both employees and external parties can report (suspected) abuses or irregularities at ABN AMRO via this procedure. Employees are encouraged to first discuss these suspicions with their manager or with the other internal reporting channels. If that is not possible, the whistleblower procedure can be used.
What is the procedure not intended for?
The whistleblower procedure is solely intended for reporting suspicions of abuse or irregularities. It is not intended for issues such as:
Problems with your debit card or payments; for this, you can our contact customer service;
Fraud by third parties. Please contact our customer service;
Complaints about ABN AMRO itself; for this, the Complaints Procedure is available;
Complaints related to the private sphere of employees.
What the whistleblower policy is intended for
This policy is specifically intended for reporting possible or suspected wrongdoings, such as:
Violations of legislation - criminal or other regulations - by ABN AMRO employees;
Breaches or violations of the core values of ABN AMRO, internal rules or regulations by ABN AMRO employees;
Fraudulent, illegal, or negligent acts by ABN AMRO employees.
How can wrongdoings be reported to ABN AMRO?

By planning a meeting with a colleague from the whistleblower team.
