ABN AMRO has drawn up rules and plans for diversity and inclusion.

This policy shows how we make an effort to support everyone, no matter what their background or gender is. We believe in treating everyone equally. We want to give equal opportunities to everyone, prevent intimidation, stop discrimination and follow national and local laws. The managers of departments and countries and their Human Resources (HR) departments are responsible for carrying out this policy. Equal numbers of men and women in top business roles

A new law has been in place since 1 January 2022. It says companies must do their best to work towards having equal numbers of women and men in high positions. Companies listed on the stock market now have to have a certain number of women on their Supervisory Board (SB). And certain companies and their subsidiaries must set targets to get more women in important roles. They have to explain how they will do this and show what they are doing to make it happen.
