Raila combats human trafficking

Around 46 million people worldwide are victims of slavery or human trafficking. Unfortunately, this is a problem even in the Netherlands, especially forced prostitution. ABN AMRO employee Raila tracks down such cases using data. “ABN AMRO has developed a complex data model. Our proactive approach has prompted the United Nations to invite us to join their Financial Sector Commission on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.”

ABN AMRO is a bank with a clear purpose: Banking for better, for generations to come. We’re pursuing our purpose by making sure our products and services contribute to a better future. One way we do this is by leading the way with circular and sustainable solutions. We’ve also drawn up a policy aimed specifically at fighting inequality. We’re working together with our clients and partners to create a clean, social and inclusive society.
